Where to Watch The Evening Star
- Jeremiah7d agoMissed opportunity the movie. Mclaine is great but flick suffers from jumping all over and never establishing a (new or old) relationship to anyone anywhere close that the original established so well. Watching this back to back with TOE only exasterbates its dissapointments. I like the idea of seeing the grandchildren but none of them fullfill an actual interesting arc. Tommy has somewhat of one but his onlu ike 1/10 of the movie and they never get into the nitty gritty of it all which leaves the arc fairly unsatisfying. Hate to say it but the 5 minutes of Jack Nicolson we get is the best part of the movie, its real and the best acted and its just nice that at least one other actor came back.
