Where to Watch The Furious
- JaysterJune 17, 2026The Furious was great from start to finish. The fight choreography is absolutely incredible and easily stands above most modern combat movies. Every action sequence feels intense, well-executed, and keeps you fully engaged throughout the film. The pacing never slows down, and the movie delivers exactly what action fans are looking for hard-hitting fights, high energy, and nonstop entertainment. If you’re a fan of combat arts or action films, this is definitely worth watching. Overall, The Furious is an adrenaline-fueled experience with some of the best fight scenes I’ve seen in a long time. Great watch!
- rg9400July 10, 2026The fight choreography is really impressive, but honestly, there isn't much else to this movie beyond that. It is nonstop fight sequences, and after a while, they all start to blur together. I think this is caused by multiple issues. First, a lot of the fight scenes aren't paced super well. They go on for way too long. I am specifically thinking about a 30-minute fight scene at the end of the movie that already feels tacked on and starts to become numbing 5 minutes in. This also is related to another issue. A lot of recent kung-fu or gun-fu movies (John Wick) do a good job of changing up the dynamics in each set piece, introducing new elements that make the action feel distinctive and different. I think this movie relies a lot on hand-to-hand brawls. Some people might really appreciate that it isn't outrageous, but for me, it really made the latter fight scenes feel like a chore. The few times the movie introduces some new mechanic into the fights, e.g. by giving the kids some agency, it suddenly becomes way more engaging than the rest of the drawn-out moments. Finally, I just don't think the movie tries to do much else beyond the action choreography. I initially was really excited because the very first scene in the movie featured a rotating camera shot awash in green lighting. However, I wouldn't say the movie has good cinematography, or needle drops outside of the fight choreography. The characters are paper thin, and the plot has been done to death by now. There are so many other movies about a father or pseudo-father fighting hundreds of baddies to rescue his daughter. Given that, I personally started to get fairly bored in this movie. I do hate to give it such a low rating because clearly so much effort went into the fights and choreography, and those are clearly really well done. I can appreciate that. I am sure there is a wide audience of people who will be happy just getting that. But for me, I think there is a lot missing from this movie outside of it.
- neuroparadoxJuly 9, 2026153 exciting minutes of people taking grievous bodily harm, and it's a thing of beauty. There's some story thrown in there too, to take you from awesome fight to awesome fight and develop characters just enough. Obviously the fighting is rad; characters each have unique fighting styles and it's so cool to see them fight one another, like in a Street Fighter game. Great choreography with nice long takes so there's not deluge of hypercuts, ergo, you can make out what's going in the scene and the fighting techniques. Side note: I bet it sucks ass to get hit with a hammer, let alone anything else used as a weapon in this movie, which is everything lol. I was reminded of the Chopper fight from the Simpsons (S11E08) at one point 🤣🔨🚲
- Spense5d agoThe action is top notch! Although i will say, some of the stunts aren't realistic. In some of the fights, I'm like, how did he not break something or how is this person still fighting? But the final fight was by far the best fight in the entire movie. The way i can describe this movie, if John Wick and RAID had a baby, Furious would be the child. I highly recommend people to watch this movie, i really enjoyed it and i would definitely watch it again.
- WittfamJuly 12, 2026It was an emotional story. The fighting choreography and camera work was well planned! The ending fight sequence was amazing with the camera work, otherwise it would have been jumbled and hard to follow. Strong female characters and nonstop fighting. Overall, a really good movie. It won’t win any Oscar’s, but for an adrenaline rush that will make you star trying kicks in your living room. It’s a good time.
- GeorgeAugust 9, 2026Baddass, BRUTAL martial arts movie with nonstop intense action. The whole movie is basically one guy going to war to save his daughter from a child trafficking ring, and it does NOT let up. The fight choreography is some of the best I’ve seen in a VERY LONG TIME. The brutality and action are relentless, and there’s barely a moment to catch your breath. Solid work to everyone involved.
