"The Intruder" was way ahead of its time in dealing with racism and the murder of African Americans by mob lynching "The Intruder" is underrated and unrecognized to this day as one of the first American movies by a up and coming major Hollywood director to deal honestly and realistically with the horror of white racism and the KKK, just as the Civil Rights movement was forcing Americas entrenched racist culture to change forever!
