For all this movie’s budgetary limitations, I think it really pulls off some emotional ideologies. A machine based on and “parented” by a woman who is tragically killed. The machine starts to realize that it may be more than just mechanical parts. She is also an efficient killing machine, built for one purpose - aggressive military use by an oppressive and growingly unbridled government. The machine kills with efficiency, but starts to remember things its designers never thought was possible. This is a low-budget sci-fi thriller packs a punch, and the actress portraying “The Machine” is elegant, vulnerable and lethal and its growing realization of who and what it is, and where it came from starts to dictate its direction and goals. A lot of movies came abiout around this time, and many of them seemed like cookie cutter Hollywood cash grabs, but this one is different, and well worth the watch.

My quick rating - 6.0/10. Tried something new, a shuffle, but only the Action genre. And it was close, but much more Sci-Fi. Still, not a bad flick at all.
