- Carter1d agoObjectively The Mummy is a flawed movie but I had an absolute blast with it. Positives: - The movie is well made, well directed, well shot, well edited, and well paced - The score is decent and really sets the Egyptian mood - I love the Egyptian setting - The characters are a lot of fun - The performances are excellent - The action sequences are awesome - For a PG-13 movie there are some brutal and disgusting sequences that grossed me out - The film is also hilarious Negatives: - The CGI does not hold up as well as I expected, especially for The Mummy himself - The film is pretty ridiculous as well Overall I had a blast watching this movie and I can’t wait to watch it again.
