An epic love story centered around an older man who reads aloud to a woman with Alzheimer's. From a faded notebook, the old man's words bring to life the story about a couple who is separated by World War II, and is then passionately reunited, seven years later, after they have taken different paths.

The best romance flick ever. Perfect acting, good story. If this movie doesn't make you warm and fuzzy inside then I don't think anything ever will.

This movie touched me quite deeply. I don't know if this kind of love exists in reality, but if it does, many people would like to experience it. There are many things to experience in this film, faith, determination, perseverance and especially love. I can only recommend it...

“to my love noah, read this to me and i’ll come back to you.” the earnestness in the sentimentality is what sells this story. first time i saw it was in a medical terminology class freshman year of high school (why did my teacher play this? idk it has nothing to do with medical terminology she just wanted to put some kids on game). i cry every time i watch it. there were teenagers at my screening gasping at the twists and sobbing at the big moments. that’s the power of cinema.

The notebook will someday be a classic love film. Considering my anniversary is the same day Noah and Allie met I might be a little bias. I’m a sucker for a good romance and just a happily ever after. Without spoiling this movie supplies you with the best possible happy ending you could ask for in a real sense. It’s a fairytale, but also a tear jerker.
