Dont get me wrong, I have actually enjoyed a few Kevin Hart movies, but honestly this nearly 3 hour long "presentation" was just pretty pathetic. It comes off (though I know they write material) so scripted and not genuine that though they joke about the speakers being there for a paycheck, I truly believed the joke was nothing but truth. So many rehashed jokes even amongst the same presenter. The host Shane I have actually enjoyed some comedy from him on other things like SNL, just fell so flat and jarring between presenters that I really just wanted him to leave and let the rest go on without him. The cast of speakers were pretty incapable of drawing a laugh as well and just felt cringe so often. If I were you, I would pass on this 3 hour monstrosity, couldnt even make it to the end where I am told Dwayne Johnson (who didnt see that coming?) was going to show up and roast Kevin as well. I mean, of course he was going to, but though I used to enjoy Dwayne's entertainment in the way past, nothing he has done lately or been publicly seen for has ever drawn anything but a fake persona. If I could give this a zero I would, it taunted itself as not worrying about being polictically correct, but most of the racist commentary was just racist, not particularly funny. And I have enjoyed some of his commedy standup specials, but this slog seemed to just want to push the edge without considering where the edge was, or what was being said to be there. PASS

I enjoyed it. The best part was Katt Wiliams, Sheryl Underwood and Dewayne Johnson. Overall give it a 9

Too much fake scripted shit by Kevin Hart. Then his shameless plugs at the end just show what a sellout tool he is.

very hit and miss with this lineup. All it really demonstrated is how grossly out of touch and bizarre the wealthy are

Gave it 2.5 stars only for katt williams , sheryl underwood and shane gillis - most of the punchlines didnt even hit and why is ts three hours ??

If you skip the first 14 minutes, all the singing, and every time Kevin, his movie costars, or the women are talking: it’s actually funny as hell 💀

Was it funny? Sometimes, there were some actual comedians that were actually funny, but for the most part it was just famous people reading jokes that they had not written. Was it worth watching for 3hrs? No, just watch the highlights on YouTube. Has the Roast been ruined by Netflix? Yes, I don't want to see famous people reading other people's jokes. I want to see real comedians rip famous people a new a hole.

Racy, vulgar, and unhinged - the late George Carlin would be proud. If you are easily offended, this would NOT be your cup of tea.

It was ok, there were funny moments. Alot of the jokes fell flat for me and I've never found jokes about the deceased funny but it's a roast so I know nothings off limits. I hope the agreement to put the beef behind Kevin and Katt was real.

I'm not sure what the other reviewers here were watching? I thought this was pretty damn funny, even stick in his ass Tom Brady was pretty good. They say it's hard to laugh when you are watching something on your own, well I didn't have any trouble here. Great job everyone 👏

The best part is reading between the lines on how hollywood really is in 2026. Having said that, there's some killer lines in there aswell. (The Rock's part was super weird, and Kevin's response was even weirder)

My white grandpa’s name is “Dwayne” Katt Williams was great. The Sheryl Underwood stuff was wild That first joke was the one that made me the most uncomfortable bc the white dudes that wrote it were way too happy with themselves. And I’m a big fan of Mike Lawrence AND Nick Mullen

They need to restrict the alcohol at these things. Last roast it was coke and that was worse but this was brutal.

Was there some funny parts? Yes, of course. Did Tony H kill it? Yeah, if you only watch his bit you'll save yourself almost 3 hours of misery...
