- FishersChillsJanuary 25, 2026What a fascinating little oddity of a movie. The execution didn’t quite work for me and it wasn’t as camp and fun as I was hoping. The 3rd act was pretty entertaining though, I just wish I was a cinema goer in 1959 Hollywood to fully appreciate the spectacle and buzzing sensation of The Tingler! Weirdly, I got some David Lynch vibes from this idea of a living organism manifesting from a persons fear … ahead of its time, one might scream.
