Not one scene where she put someone else ahead of herself. There were no redeeming factors to her. What exactly did she discover in the end? That she’s happiest alone and doesn’t need anyone but herself. Sounds like a happy life.

And maybe she'd redeem herself in the third act. The script and Renata's performance, and the cinematography does the exact opposite. She is flawed, but deeply human.
