- ZokkiieJune 4, 2026Wild that more than 20 years had passed since I last watched this. I expected a few laughs and a healthy dose of nostalgia, but it genuinely held up better than I thought it would. The movie throws one ridiculous situation after another at you, and somehow it keeps working. The cast is fantastic, the humor is unapologetically over-the-top, and several scenes are still laugh-out-loud funny. It's not flawless. Some of the material feels dated, and a few jokes don't land the same way they probably did in 1998. Still, the charm, energy, and sheer commitment to the comedy make those issues easy to overlook. A classic that reminded me why it became such a comedy favorite in the first place.

Thirteen years later he tracks her down only to be a competetor in a competition over Mary. The acting was absolutely superb and believable, the plot, stunning! The whole thing was mercilessly hilarious and will have you on all fours, banging your fist on the floor. If you dont mind rather disgusting shots then you'll love this to bits! I highly recommend it. Prepare for a lot of laughs, slapstick and grose scenes. You wont regret buying it! BRILLIANT! Sure to become a classic, if it isn't already! 10/10!
