The jokes are genuinely funny, the gore is ridiculous in the best way, and the whole movie runs with its idea as far as it possibly can. Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine are an absolute blast together, and their chemistry carries every scene they're in. I was laughing way more than I expected. A few jokes don't land, and once the premise is established, you can kind of see where things are heading. Honestly, I didn't care. The movie has so much charm and such good comedic timing that it never stopped being entertaining. It's clever without feeling smug about it, which is a tough balance to pull off. Easily one of the most fun horror comedies I've seen.
- macaronzMay 18, 2026Tucker & Dale vs. Evil is my absolute favorite horror-comedy. It’s hard to believe that 16 years have already passed since its release, time flies so fast! I still clearly remember the first time I watched it. It’s highly recommended and revisiting it is always pure joy. A timeless classic!
