Thought Frank Dillane was perfect as Mike, the central figure whom is simultaneously easy to root for yet incredibly frustrating to watch constantly succumb to his self-destructive impulses.

For a first film (by Harris Dickinson), this is assured. Also interesting to see Amr Waked. I've seen him many times in French films, but didn't know he spoke English
