Where to Watch You Only Live Twice

- LivewireAdminDecember 8, 2025Screenplay by Roald Dahl y'all.....the man who wrote Charlie and the Chocolate Factory also wrote "Why do Chinese girls taste different from all other girls?" The Japan setting was cool, a change of scenery from the tropical locations. The mild racism....not so cool. This felt like the most action packed Bond yet—a car chase, a helicopter chase, multiple fight scenes. They were definitely upping the ante here. Blofeld finally goes toe to toe with Bond and its great, I totally forgot it was Donald Pleasence. The volcano lair is iconic.

The story’s kinda ridiculous and a bit slow in parts, but it’s got that classic ‘60s spy vibe that makes it easy to enjoy. Not the best Bond, not the worst — just a solid, entertaining watch.
