
Juan Piquer Simón

He was a Spanish director, producer and screenwriter. After studying Fine Arts and Decoration, he enrolled at the Madrid Film Research Institute, after which he devoted himself to advertising. Among his major works are The Verne Triology, Pieces, and Slugs. His works are internationally admired by prestigious horror directors such as Eli Roth or Edgar Wright.
