Nikitas Platis (Amorgos 1912 - November 14, 1984) was a Greek actor.
He was born in Chora of Amorgos in 1912. He was the son of teacher Markos Platis. He went to Athens in 1928 and from 1932 he became a stage actor. He was the president of the Union of Greek Actors. He made his first appearance with the musical work Ririka by the troupe R. Ruggeris. From 1940 he appeared many times as a troupe leader and starred in operettas, comedies and revues. Alongside his long career as an actor, he also worked as a writer (he has written five plays and about two hundred numbers in revues). In the cinema he made his first appearance in 1958 in the films The Mimic and Mary and Our Lady the Midwife. Since then he became one of the key figures of Greek cinema, since we meet him in second and first roles, in 112 films. In 1972, he appeared on television for the first time in the series "Bolshoi Ivan and Big John", while a little later he became known to the general public with his participation in the series "Border Station" where he convinced the president of the village. in Korydallos.
Alongside his film career, he also worked in the theater as a writer.
