This did to the source material what many often don't: a faithful, while also better, adaptation. The book is fine, but it's a bit lacking, primarily with regard to character development. The series is quick to address that, which is immediately noticeable, but in a way that makes sense. Season one, happily, is the whole book. I don't know where they'll go with season 2. There appears to be room for something, though I'm not sure it's needed. It could easily stop after Season 1, which I'd recommend at the back end of the book. Otherwise, go further if you feel Apple can keep it going and do justice to the original story.
I nearly gave it 5 stars, but then the end doesn't quite work out as well as I had hoped. It seemed oddly throwaway.
really good mind bending show! I liked the themes and it was very thought provoking.
Really enjoyed the first season. Only gave it 4 out of 5 just because it did get a little slow in the middle. But it was definitely worth it in the end. Can't wait to see where the show goes from season 1. Cool concept well executed. I recommend checking this one out.
