It's genuinely hard not to smile when you're watching Kid Goku beat down more bad guys like in the original Dragon Ball series. Akira Toriyama, thank you for this incredible finale to your work in general. Rest in peace, good sir.

Watching Goku and the crew turned small again somehow makes the world feel big and fun all over, with great animation, classic humor, and that sense of goofy adventure I feel has been missing. It feels like a love letter to old-school Dragon Ball while still delivering exciting fights and heartfelt moments.
