- Jim FoxApril 27, 2026I absolutely love this slow-burn series. It does have its problems, however, chief among these is that it feels like the writer(s) chose the wrong stage of life. What I mean is, the characters are in University already and over 18, yet they are just now figuring out their sexuality and what it means to be attracted to someone? This seems to be something out of late-stage Middle School or early High School, but way too late to be happening at Uni! If you can put that fact aside, the story is incredibly sweet and endearing, and you will want to watch the characters as they develop. I even enjoyed the second couple too! As far as I can tell, this is the first work from the main artists, which is incredibly impressive considering the emotional depth they are required to produce. And, quite frankly, Liang Bei Yi (Chen Ke) is just so adorable that I smile whenever he's on screen.
