Saw this one on TV as a kid, Dutch or German broadcast, probably dubbed. It was set in the '50s, but for me it was pure '70s comfort. Richie was the nice guy, Potsie the goof and Fonzie? Fonzie was everything. Leather jacket, motorcycle, “Ayyy!”, he made cool look effortless. The show had that warm glow: family dinners, jukeboxes and life lessons tucked between punchlines. Howard and Marion felt like TV parents you could trust and Al’s diner was the kind of place you wished existed in my city. Didn’t get all the cultural references back then, but the vibe was clear, nostalgia for a simpler time, delivered with charm and a wink.
