What was touted as a hot romp hockey show turned out to be an emotional roller coaster with some of the most endearing and ernest characters I have seen on TV in a long time. An enjoyable watch from beginning to end, the characters truly worm their way into your heart so by the end of the season you are invested in all of them, not just the two phenomenal leads.

The show itself really isn't that bad, but the gay community would have thrown a fit of a lifetime if a show with straight attractive female characters had this amazingly shallow body diversity. EVEN the guy that serves coffee and smoothies is ripped like you wouldn't believe or even begin to understand. Every male character is jacked, and I think it represents a very low statistic of the actual group and doesn't promote body diversity like the woke preaches on everything else that doesn't apply to them. The showrunner from a visual perspective highlights the hypocrisy of entertainment today without of course doing anything good to change it. To get through the storyline you have to go through minutes upon minutes of disturbingly loud sex scenes. I guess only the woke get to decide if a show has these scenes nowadays.

The casting, the chemistry, the canadian scenery are all amazing 😍 I'm melting! It captures well on dating in the early 20s like.

How good it is to start the year with something as good as this. Absolutely loved it. Bring tissues. No, not for that. Maybe not just for that.

I wish Letterboxd let you review TV shows so I could hate on this more. This is CCCCCOOOOOOORRRRRNNNNNYYYYYYY schlock. Ilya gives me full out of body cringe to the point that I want to peel my skin off. The “dom top” vibes are so forced. Hollander can not act. Period. The “rivalry” aspect is basically not there, but sometimes it is? There are so many damn time skips that it’s hard to keep track of when they’re teammates and when they’re not, not that it actually matters since the only real story is a “will they won’t they, but it’s obvious that they will”. The boundaries they have to go through to secure their relationship are not interesting or exciting or new or fresh. A number of the sex scenes are pulled straight from actual porn—so just go watch that, frankly. People are praising this show because they think it’s progressive but there’s other better LGBT content out there. This is poorly written, poorly acted and derivative slopppp.

So this is Hockey... It's great. :)

Can't see what all the fuss is about. I found it quite tedious most of the time. The secondary relationship between Scott and Kip was moderately more intersting, than the two lead characters.

Amazing can’t wait for season two!
