- ZercesApril 27, 2026The anime starts off gently, but with each episode, it draws you deeper into a beautiful, richly detailed world. The main characters are lovingly drawn, and their backstories are beautifully fleshed out. A pleasant fantasy romance anime for in-between viewing. The basic premise of the anime is that in each season, a girl needs to be rescued... who then, of course, falls in love with Bell. So, it's a typical harem anime, without all the women constantly flitting around him like you might expect. The harem aspect is rather subtle, but noticeable. Seasons 1, 2, and 3 are more relaxed, but the tension ramps up considerably in season 4, culminating in the current peak, season 5, which I devoured. Definitely recommended for fans of the genre, although it's a bit long and rather slow-paced, but a charming world that's worth a look.
