With the Yellowstone Ranch behind him, Kayce Dutton joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, combining his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana, where he and his teammates must balance family, duty and the high psychological cost that comes with serving as the last line of defense in the region's war on violence.

Personally I thought is was very good, not as good as Yellowstone but a decent spinoff

If you can survive 10 episodes of guns horses and beautiful scenery then go ahead but this is straight up some of the worst acting and writing I've seen in a very long time, very ordinary show.

For me it doesn't live up to the Yellowstone moniker, found early on it struggled with its identity this became a bit better when there were 2 parters. All Yellowstone shows have a point to the show but this sadly doesn't and I think this is because although it has Taylor Sheridans name on it he has no input in production or writing. It could be better but if it is going to carry the Sheridan name it has to have the same writing style and production IMO. CGI is a bit ropey as well Don't think I will be breaking down doors to watch Season 2

Couldn't get into it at all. Slow pacing, unoriginal, nothing to keep you coming back for the next episode.

The amount of times this show just kind of hand waved away explanations of things got to be too much for me - their tiny team of Marshals taking on much larger groups or refusing to wait on backup just made no sense. Luke Grimes did a poor job of any sort of emotions or feelings that might have drawn me in more - I just didnt feel any sort of attachment to him, his son or their story in this show. Some of the other characters drew me in more but still not enough to make me actually enjoy it. I had hopes for this show but they fell far short of expectations.

9 episodes in and find it hard to get with the show fully. Seems to be the same rinse and repeat of hunt bad guy(s), do lots of killing, then go hang out at bar. I feel the show is leading up to something with chairmen Rainwater but I am not certain. I also feel the show could have been stronger if Kelsey Asbille was in the show as Monica Dutton.

Marshals lacks the depth of characters found on Yellowstone, even with Kayce Dutton as the center of much of this first season. The crisis focused on unfolds okay but the delivery of the story in the early episodes is a little... soft. That said, Marshals does slowly improve as the first season establishes itself. It's not a ringing endorsement for the Yellowstone brand but it does hold potential for a bigger story down the road should the series continue beyond its first season.

Ever wished Yellowstone was less emotional, thought-provoking, and deliberate? Do you just wish the characters danced around on screen like marionettes every week instead? If so, this show is for you. Some of the characters of Yellowstone with none of the... anything else people like about that show.

Really enjoying this. Enough Yellowstone to know it is part of the franchise, but a whole new story line. So far so good. Definitely worth the watch.
  • If you took out the beauty of land in the background and hid Arielle Kebbel's body there would be nothing to watch. The acting isn't the best, the main guy's kid is pooh and so is almost every other person in the show.

If you tuned in expecting another gritty, captivating masterpiece from the Taylor Sheridan factory, you might want to lower your expectations.

It's great to see Kayce and his manflesh as an action hero greater than John Wick.
  • Attention

Decent show. However, didn’t grab and hold my attention as the other Dutton shows. I have seen that I’m not the only one. I like Sheridan’s other shows and wish they’d hurry and open the next season of Landman and Tulsa King.

    Too lame

Too woke and zero plot. Dutton Ranch is much better.

    Hasn't grabbed me

I'm a HUGE Yellowstone fan. Along with the prequels, 1883, 1923 & the new Dutton Ranch which is the Rip and Beth spinoff. But this series is just too cheesy. It's like a NCIS or The Rookie series where each episode is its own, catch the bad guy ep. Thoughts?
