Where to Watch May I Ask for One Final Thing?
- ZercesJune 29, 2026🧠 Opinion: Reverse Isekai – or, how the antagonist simply uses everyone as a punching bag 📊 Rating: 👥 Characters: ⭐⭐⭐ 📖 Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🎨 Animation: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🎧 Music: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 💥 Entertainment: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (🎤 OP/ED: ✩ ) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🏁 Conclusion: The idea of a princess who simply beats the crap out of almost anyone and anything that rubs her the wrong way sounds off-putting and unrealistic at first, but it works refreshingly well and was quite entertaining for me (and if I’m being totally honest… also a bit hot 😋). Sure, you could ask whether it makes much sense or question the realism and all that... but honestly, if we asked ourselves that, 99% of all anime wouldn't make the cut. That’s why I only judge realism in extreme cases (like *Windbreaker*—where the entire world-building makes absolutely no sense and lacks internal logic). Aside from that, it’s really just about having a good time, and well... you definitely do. I had some really good laughs; however, the anime is relatively predictable. The animation is good but inconsistent in places, and the characters lack a bit of depth in my opinion, which keeps it from getting a higher score. Nevertheless, I’d place it just above 4 stars. Definitely an anime for a relaxed binge-watching session.
- RazorbitzApril 3, 2026If like me you crave a bare knuckle brawling romantic lead, this will have to do. Utena this is not. Everything in this show is just set dressing for the main character to punch things. That's okay! These are the best parts. The first episode isn't high art, but it does a solid job of pitching you the premise. That first episode is the best episode, and after watching the whole series probably the only episode I would say is a must watch. Your mileage will vary after. I found the plot, comedy, and generic anime cast collectively weak and at times grating. There is a checklist of tropes the show seems obligated to go through, but the fun is and will always be Scarlett. She's pretty good! The author clearly thinks so too, as nearly every scene there is someone either proclaiming how she is not like the other girls and/or thinking to themselves "She's so weird and quirky! She is funny and cool and I am in love with her!" It's a shame because the premise is for this show is fantastic. I really want Scarlett to be in a better written series, or in general to see this premise given the treatment its due. Hopefully the success of this series will inspire something even better. Until then however, this is good enough.
