- DrewMarch 9, 2026Not even through episode 2 before I see the typical tropes emerge. Might as well be a netflix show in it's attempt to change popular culture towards a falsified ideal. It does the two things that are popularly expediant at the moment. Elevate the immigrant and denigrate the Christian church. The former, while legal when abiding the principals (and laws) that make this country (the USA) great and the shinning city on the hill, it certainly tries to suggest that without them it would be less so, while drawing you to conclusion they'd like, instead of saying the formation of the country and it's laws, beliefs and values drew them to it. The latter being that the church is merely a deceitful corrupt performance art troupe designed to extract maximum profit and compliance from an otherwise desperate and easily manipulatable population. And if you believe that, I have some beach front property in Arizona to sell you. Get a grip, shit like this is designed to change your perception.
