The sheriff of Reno is murdered and the Department questions his widow, who has clearly been having an affair. Before the sheriff died, he told Deputy Dangle to avenge his death, so Dangle goes all out to catch the culprit--and later, at the morgue, he discovers what exactly killed the sheriff.
