Steve Zahn is introduced as "Solo," a long-isolated survivor who has shut himself inside a safe and refuses to come out. He's paranoid and shy, and Juliette’s attempts to reach him give their scenes a tense, stop-and-start quality that feels honest to the situation and sparks hope for an interesting dynamic to develop between the two. Meanwhile, the tension in Silo 18 keeps tightening in a methodical way without pushing toward any particularly meaningful revelations. It’s another chapter that honestly feels like filler, albeit with a few rewarding moments.
