    Spider-Man: The Animated Series is one of the definitive superhero cartoons of the 1990s. It captures the spirit of the comics incredibly well while giving Spider-Man a surprisingly mature and serialized story. What makes the series so great is the balance between superhero action and Peter Parker's personal life. The show doesn't treat Peter like an invincible hero; he struggles with relationships, responsibility, money, villains, and the consequences of his choices. The huge lineup of Marvel villains is another major strength, with plenty of memorable story arcs involving characters like Venom, the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Kingpin, and the X-Men. The animation may look dated today, but the storytelling still holds up remarkably well. 5/5 — An absolute '90s superhero classic and one of the best animated versions of Spider-Man ever made.

    90s super-hero animated series were PEAKK , this , x-men : animated series , batman : animated series were PEAKK shows and it's sad that this won't be getting an official season 6
