It's peak. It's a consistent power fantasy throughout the episode, not just as a culmination point at the end. The source is Web/Light novels. I personally enjoy it a lot. It gives me a rare ''hopeful'' feeling. Trust Anos Voldigoad.
I think the first season is a very ''complete'' experience for a first season and we can see the light novel intricacies leak into Season 2 which I think turned off a lot of people, but I personally love it.
I can see why some states want to ban anime now, side note not worth a watch.
It tries so hard to be Eminence in Shadow, but can't be compared to peak.
