On the eve of World War II, most countries already knew that railways were essential in terms of logistics. They had used the train during the First World War to transport troops and supplies. But between 1939 and 1946, control of the train became even more strategic for economic and industrial reasons, but above all, it became a weapon. This unprecedented series will focus on four famous European battles of World War II: the Battle of Britain, the failure of Barbarossa, Operation Overlord, and the liberation of France.
