- James SaenzNovember 8, 2025all of the cracks that existed in season one have opened into full fledged caverns. i still enjoy these characters (mostly wednesday and enid), but everything feels underwhelming. the biggest detriment to wednesday’s character was having her go to a boarding school where she has to play a detective with a moral compass. so often she is written to denounce the antagonists when many of the actions are things the addams family would typically endorse. it creates this weird dichotomy and inconsistency in the character and that bleeds into the ethos of the show as a whole.
- ricomckeeSeptember 27, 2025It is hard to improve upon the original season but this is equivalent in quality and maybe a touch more fun. The casting is perfect and the writing and direction top tier. This is an example of when the writers and directors have a vision and stick with that vision while paying homage to the lore and previous incarnations to build a wonderful show!
