I might have missed it somewhere explained in some dialogue but how does Val Cooper have an important government position instead of being jailed in The Raft for her direct involvement in 1. helping Bastion/Genosha as well as 2. Freeing Magneto who almost destroyed Earth?
Why would the X-Men allow this? Why would any US government or Avenger allow this? That part has been mind blowing to me all season.
