Tender, sweet, respectful, lovely movie. I would give 5 stars but the ending was slightly amiss. And I don’t like Woody Allen.
Themes explored: widowhood, love and pain as a pair, mature love and sexual situations, orthodox Jewish tradition. Also botany/floriculture!!
Really loved the unpredictable ride in the beginning. I wish they had done more with the ending. Great psychological thriller. I wish it would make more people consider veganism ….
