As a parent of young kids, we've seen this before... temper tantrums and peeing on the floor when they don't get what they want. Classic 3 year old vibes.
Well that was much better than the cliff notes I read in high school!
Minus half a star for the treatment of dogs...
5 stars for the 5 star weekend! Jennifer Garner is fantastic but D'Arcy Carden stole the show for me. Also, the music was awesome in every epsiode.
An amazing movie that wakes you up to the struggles a woman has to go through to get medical care. Adrianne Palicki is outstanding!
Loved the concept "the screens are talking over" but Pixar failed in showcasing in the trailer that the plot was more about Bonnie being "special" because at age 9, she still plays with toys and therefore has no friends. So mom and dad get her a tablet to make friends online.
Thanks Pixar for putting that thought into my 5 year olds brain. If I had known that, not sure I would have brought my kid to see it.
Also, so much texting between the kids on screen! I felt like I was narrating half the film to my 5 year who can't read . So thanks for that too I guess.
Exactly what I expected and wanted out of the movie, but I could have done without the teeth thing. Nightmares tonight for sure!
"Miranda hangs up her own coat now?"
I knew nothing would come close to the original so for all intents and purposes, the movie was great. I understand why Miranda couldn't be the Miranda from the first film but I felt myself craving more "that's all" and "gird your loins" moments.
They did a good job of taking what could have been a storyline all on its own - layoffs in the time of consolidation and AI - and put it in The Devil Wear's Prada world.
All in all, if you loved the first, this film feels like some much needed nostalgia and fun closure.
