Quality HPL cosmic horror that I believe would make King proud. Simmons' (voice) is fantastic and Kwantan wasn't too shabby either. Some unexpected funny dialog with thoughtful subtext on modern toxic masculinity and role delusion. CGI effects were well executed. This is how to make believable, effective horror on an indie budget. Excited to see where McKendry goes from here.

This was a pretty good watch. Lead male actor was fantastic. And the woman was decent too, though her character was smackable, which , since I'm sure she was written that way, makes her abetter than decent actress, just not necessarily a likable character. Some good narrative details. I appreciated the development of Marks alcoholism in the plotline, especially as someone in recovery. Gave some real breath and depth to the character. The bait switcheroo between characters was clever as well as the fire plot device. won't expound too much on that so as not to spoil anything. The cgi was good especially for the budget. Well designed and blended into the environment well. Pace was alright and kept me engrossed, particularly the last 25 min or so. All in all I enjoyed it and would recommend for horror lovers .
