A star for the town assault and a star for the Tiger fight! ⭐⭐ I’m sorry, but what is that ending? One tank takes on an entire SS platoon! ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR GOD DAMN MIND?! 😂 There’s maybe 35 minutes of action surrounded by what feels like 1,000 hours of useless dialogue. I think Fury would have been a much better movie if it had been more of an actual military operation. Tanks operate with infantry and as part of larger formations. They don’t just go wandering around stranded by themselves for most of the movie. The town assault was easily the best part, in my opinion, because it actually showed tanks and infantry working together. That’s what the whole movie needed: more combined arms. Tanks, infantry, artillery, German defenses, other tanks, and a larger battle happening around Fury's crew. Instead, we get two great action sequences, a lot of dialogue, and then one Sherman taking on an entire SS platoon like it has unlimited plot armor. Fury could have been so much better if it had focused on one large, ongoing operation with Fury's crew as part of it. The town assault showed exactly what the movie should have been. ⭐Fury
