Positives: - The performances are great - The movie doesn’t have tons of action but when we do get some action it’s really intense and entertaining - The movie is really intense and really keeps you on the edge of your seat for most of the runtime - The soundtrack is decent as well - Tom Cruise is awesome as the villain Negatives: - The movie is overly generic and a movie I have definitely seen a million times before - The characters are nothing memorable - The movie can drag at some points and kind of feels repetitive at some points. Overall Collateral is a good movie but a movie I have definitely seen before

I would rate it a little higher if it wasn't a weak in the script department on a few things here and there and have some cheesy tropes, and some weird pacing at times... but the action, the tension, and the deep conversations between Cruise and Foxx hit hard.
