I think this film is hilarious, filled with great actors playing with their early potential and satirizing situations and personalities they no doubt had to endure.

As campy and over the top as it is, and all of the cast are, they absolutely nailed the stereotypical characteristics of kids from a small town high school (and their parents!). It's fun, and psychotic, and I've no idea how many times I've rewatched it - dozens, at least.
