This movie introduced me to Ingrid Cold, enabling me to discover a newfound interest akin to Final Destination and Slenderman.

Much too think about It’s never good when I come out of a film thinking, “Man, Knowing really wasn’t that bad of a film, huh.” The “finding a disturbing journal” trope is great but it’s even better that every time I see it employed, I think about “KFBR392” Felt kinda slapped together but still strung out to fill the runtime? Maybe my mind was just working differently than normal. Or maybe I just didn’t trust the vision You would think the governor would take a possible threat to his life a little more seriously Kinda fun little bit of Final Destination that everybody and their blind mother saw coming from a mile away Loved the stock female Wilhelm scream He just pulls the cop’s barrier cage from behind and it opens? Tf Why would you just stop the investigation before the day ends lol The direction and editing were just way too frenetic, unfocused, and unnecessarily extra. Doing too much! I liked the concept more than the execution!

The Mothman Prophecies - is a very unsettling & eerie mystery thriller that's dripping with atmosphere!!!! Most importantly I'm so glad they made the creative choice of showing the Mothman out of focus instead of a clear shot & image of it. And whenever they do show its in quick flashes or from a the Mothmans POV...so we never get an actual good look at it really. Which I think is a smart choice...its so much more effective & creepy, when it's all left to the viewers imagination. What makes this film so creepy is the unknown and the whole tone of the film as well. And the director of this movie Mark Pellington, also directed another all time favourite psychological thriller of mine Arlington Road....what the hell happened to that guy he gave us two awesome psychological thrillers....I'm surprised that he didn't get offered to do more projects after those 2 movies strange!!!!! 🤔🤔🤔 The Mothman Prophecies overall is a very slow burn and a very fascinating & intriguing psychological thriller, that had me 💯 interested & invested for its entire runtime.
